Installation and Configuration
Overview
This page explains how to install and update the Generic Placeholder deployment package.
Requirements
You should have an overview of how to deploy an AccPack. See Using Accelerating Package in your Project.
Step 1: Download the deployment package
The deployment package is available on the priint webftp storage at webftp.priint.com, in the priint_suite_accpacks folder under AccPackGenericPlaceholder. Please contact our support for access.
After you download the ZIP files, you should have the packages shown below.
Ensure that the plugin version matches your target Publishing Server version.

Step 2: Deploy the packages
First-time installation
- Extract
AccpackGenericPlaceholder-<version>-install.zip. - Deploy the extracted package by following the process described in Using Accelerating Package in your Project.
Update an existing installation
- Extract
AccpackGenericPlaceholder-<version>-update.zip. - Deploy the extracted package by following the process described in Using Accelerating Package in your Project.
Result
After the deployment is complete, the Generic Placeholder plugin and the selected placeholder packages are installed and ready to use.
