Installation and Configuration

Requirements

Before installing this module, complete the prerequisites described in Using Accelerating Package in your Project.

Installation

Step 1: Download

The deployment packages are available from the webftp storage in the priint_suite_accpacks/AccPackProductListByRule directory.

Please contact priint Support if you need access.

version is the version of pubserver.

After extracting the downloaded archive, you will find the following packages:

• AccPackProductListByRule-version-install.zip: Use this package for a first-time installation. See Case 1: First-time installation for more details.
• AccPackProductListByRule-version-update.zip: Use this package to update an existing installation. See Case 2: Update an existing installation for more details.

Step 2: Deploy

Case 1: First-time installation

Use this package when installing the Product List By Rule module for the first time.

The archive AccPackProductListByRule-version-install.zip contains the following deployment packages:

• AccPackProductListByRule_version.zip: Installs the plugin, library, rendering script and XML configuration.

Case 2: Update an existing installation

Use this package when updating an existing installation of the Product List By Rule module.

The archive AccPackProductListByRule-version-update.zip contains:

• AccPackProductListByRulePlugin_version.zip: Updates the plugin and library only.

Configuration

Step 1: Setup metadata

The following table describes document metadata need to be setup for the module.

documentId	id of document which is generated from priint:planner	default

documentId parameter will be automatically added to your document during the check-out by the priint:comet plugins and doesn't need to be added to your publication type.

Step 2: Assign metadata to publication, document

Assign the above document metadata to publication type and configure a _renderingruleset at the document you want to render.

Step 3: Configure the XML configuration

• Define a new rule set inside the XML configuration file productListRule.xml:

The configuration file in the plugin folder com.priint.accpack.productlistbyrule.GenericProductListByRulePlugin/WerkII/default/productListRule.xml.

After configuring a matching configId you can start the default rendering process and select the script Rendering Layout By Rule.
